  26. This disk is a double-sided disk. All
  27. of the programs that will run under
  28. ProDOS are on the ProDOS formatted
  29. front side of the disk, and all that
  30. will run under DOS 3.3 are on the
  31. back side of the disk. Some programs
  32. will run under both operating systems
  33. and are included on both sides of this
  34. disk.
  35. You're currently using the ProDOS side
  36. of the disk.

  38. Before using the programs on this disk,
  39. you should make a work disk for each 
  40. program. This can be done by first 
  41. making a complete copy of the disk with
  42. one of the following programs:
  43.  
  44. * COPYA (DOS 3.3 System Master)
  45. * FILER (ProDOS Utilities Disk)
  46. * The Apple IIc or Apple IIGS
  47.   Utilities Disk
  48. * Any Disk Copy Program
  49.  
  50. Then boot the copied disk and delete 
  51. all of the files that are not related 
  52. to the program by using the DELETE 
  53. command. The System Utilities program
  54. also has an option to DELETE files.

  56. You will not be able to delete the 
  57. titles that we've placed in the 
  58. catalog to separate files. However, 
  59. these will not interfere with the 
  60. operation of the programs.

  62. The screen displays that follow show 
  63. the files needed to create working 
  64. copies of each program.

  66. To create a work disk for NEWSMAKER,
  67. remove all but the following files 
  68. from a copy of this disk:

  71. CONFIG.NM
  72. NEWSMAKER.S
  73.  
  74. These programs are included only on the
  75. ProDOS side of this disk.  These 
  76. programs are not included as an option
  77. in the program menu because they 
  78. require special instructions.  See the

  147. NOTE:  NR.CONVERTER works with ProDOS 
  148. but the files you create must be 
  149. converted to DOS 3.3 format before
  150. using them with NEWSROOM.

  170. is a utility published in every issue
  171. of Nibble that aids in typing in
  172. programs from the magazine. See the

  177. assembly language programs have been
  178. included on this side of the disk.
  179. These files are included expressly for
  180. experienced programmers.  These files
  181. cannot be used unless you own the 
  182. appropriate assembler.
